Visiting Newcastle is one place that I enjoy traveling to mostly because it is a quiet little beach town that s right on the main highway the runs up the east coast of Australia. The time that I spend here is always time at the beach or sitting and relaxing in one of the salt water rock pools that the city council has provided the residents. Spending time at the beach with my children meant that I can each then water safety from a surf beach point of view as well as teaching them how to body surf and make good use of the waves.

Newcastle has more to offer than just their magnificent beaches and rock pools, the main streets have nice exceptional shops to browse through as well as a pub that serves a mean counter lunch and tasty beers. The café that is on the main road also has great service and some very nice sandwiches that we buy before we go on any of our usual road trips around Newcastle.
